WHO: Clark and Giorno
WHAT: they finally meet... and go to the amusement park!
WHERE: SuperFunland in Laughter
WHEN: during the day
WARNINGS: none so far!

It had taken a little bit of messaging back and forth, but by the end of it, they'd decided to meet at the park entrance for their day. Clark, for his part, was pretty excited, both to meet a new friend (someone like him! someone who could do things!) and because, well, it was still an amusement park. He didn't get to go too often, or at all, since the best that they usually had around where they were was the county fair. And that was the same four rides every year, honestly. The whole thing lost a bit of its luster when you'd been going since you were three. And, you know, you could fly.

But he's excited, waiting in line, and hoping to spot Giorno when he arrives The line isn't too bad, but he'd come a little early so he was hoping to get a jump on it. Thankfully, his new friend is easy to spot. And, you know, super-vision...

{ The Beechwood Hotel is a relatively old building, great swirling architecture adding flare and beauty even if some of the luster has clearly faded over the years. Once upon a time, it had been the sort of place where starlets and public figures made a point of staying, but that time is well over even if the place has been well-maintained and cared for. The front lobby is opulent but just as obviously antique, with dark woods polished to a warm sheen and plush red fabrics that do their job of drawing one in quite well for all that the furniture was made decades ago. Most of the room has soft, intimate lighting and there may be a couple of visitors waiting around or checking in as one enters, but the front desk is bright and inviting and the attendant there is kind and welcoming.

Their face darkens in worry as they hand you the key, however.

The elevator, an old caged affair with a bellhop and all, looks at you somewhat askance as you mention the room you're headed to, but as you make your way towards room 203, there's no outward sign that there's anything amiss here. A 'Do Not Disturb' sign hangs from the door, either for good reason or as someone's idea of a joke, but if you put in the key and turn the knob, the door will open as the owner had mentioned. What you'll see upon looking in from the door is a perfectly normal, if above-average, hotel room with a single bed, a sitting area, a small kitchenette, a television, and a side alcove which almost certainly leads to the closets and the bathroom.

When you step in, however, the door closes behind you, complete with a strange clanging noise. That would be when you notice the chains and the locks on this side of the door. The door which certainly won't open again.

Good luck. }
