WHO: Tony Stark & Harry Osborn
WHAT: Exploring the City of Sorcery and picking up a couple of mischievous babby dragons.
WHEN: Afternoon
WHERE: Dark Forest in the City of Sorcery
NOTES/WARNINGS: Nothing for the time being.
Sorcery is the one place Harry specifically tries to avoid-- even moreso than Nightmare or the absurd stupidity that was Laughter. Although he had strength and reflexes on his side thanks to the Goblin serum, he still wound up depending heavily on his tech, the majority of which either ceased to function or backfired. In a city with things like huge dragons, powerful sorcerers, and God knows what else, it puts him at a gross disadvantage.
The only one who might be worse off here is Tony Stark.
Harry still hasn't seen this miraculous suit of armor yet, but he knows Tony's arm depends on that tech. Not that it's enough to dissuade the guy, mind you, because here they are: moseying through Sorcery and closing in on the Dark Forest.
"I haven't been out here before," Harry admitted, hesitant to wander in. All he had on him was a simple dagger and small bag full of healing potions he'd picked up in the market along the way. Probably not enough to save his skin if they wandered into a big, angry dragon or an ogre or something. "So... I dunno what all's out here, but probably not good things. Are we really going in there?"

Partly, though, it was because this land was straight out of a fantasy book for Tony. And, considering he had been a huge fan of fantasy books while growing up
before Howard ridiculed him and managed to make him reconsider his book choices, he just couldn't help but want to be here. At least so he could say he tried it once, so here they are. Tony also had a dagger that almost looked more like a hunting knife and snacks, just in case they needed them, but he was hopeful they would just be able to transport themselves back somewhere in case they were to really run into trouble."I'm still good with continuing. Do you want to head back?" There was no judgement in his voice; if anything, he was just asking so he could let him know that it was okay if he wanted to go somewhere else. "I just want to take a look around. You know, to say I was actually here at least once."
He flexed the fingers of his right hand, the gears of the red metal arm whirring softly at the movement, but it was mainly done as if to test it. To see if it was still working, or if the exploring idea was already backfiring. So far so good, though, and Tony played off the movement by reaching to adjust the strap of his backpack, as if that was his intent all along. Tony wasn't wearing the suit, but what could be seen of his arm (which was a good amount, since he had rolled up his long sleeves) gave a good idea of what it looked like. How sleek the design was, the hot rod red color with tinges of gold. If the tech didn't fail, and somehow they stumbled upon some trouble later, technically his arm would be able to keep them safe, but it was a gamble. Would it work later?
"I can meet you back somewhere else, if you want. Really, Harry, it's not a big deal."

"No," Harry said almost too quickly before reeling himself back. Be cool. "I don't wanna go back." Except that he did. "I'm just saying. It might be kinda treacherous. We should be ready for anything."
Indeed, he was so absorbed in his own issues that he didn't even notice Tony testing out his arm. It was probably a miracle that thing still worked. Maybe even the city's weird anti-tech field had some sympathy for a guy with a prosthetic arm. Which, by the way, was impressive. Harry wasn't a scientist by any stretch of the imagination, but he worked closely enough with them at Oscorp that he could appreciate the brilliance behind the design. His suit and glider, Octavius' smart arms... those were top-of-the-line tech in his world, but he had a feeling they paled in comparison to Tony's suit if that arm was anything to go by.
Maybe he could learn a thing or two and put Oscorp back on the map with something similar. A lot of people needed prosthetics and developing something that functioned so naturally could be huge.
But that was a thought for another time. Harry's focus went back on the forest, where he stared into the shadows for a long moment before decisively trekking in.
"Let's go, pal. It'll be fun."
Or it won't and they'll be charred corpses. Y'know. Whatever.

So, he just nodded when Harry suggested to get going. As they walked, Tony could feel his own nerves tightening in anticipation. Not because he was scared, but he knew that just because his arm had worked earlier, it didn't mean that it would continue working during the rest of their walk and he wasn't used to that anymore. Even if Tony was very well aware of the fact that he only had one arm that was really his own, the prosthetic functioned so well that he hardly felt the absence during his daily routines. But now, if it stopped working... Then what? He'd have a deadweight hanging from his shoulder, essentially. Which he could swing to hit things as needed, so at least it would be good for that, but it didn't change the paranoia from building in the back of his head.
"You know, if my best friend knew I was out here in the woods, he'd probably faint. To be fair, though, he dragged me out camping for my birthday, so I kept complaining. Who the hell does that, anyway?"
He could still remember the way Rhodey complained over Tony's never-ending bitching fest. But, seriously, camping? That's probably why Tony doesn't really mind being out here right now, at least it won't be an overnight stay.
He hoped it wouldn't be, anyway.
"Do you know anyone else that has been through this place?"
