WHO: severus and lily (& possibly you)
WHAT: a pair of ptsd-riddled magicians are ignoring the ongoing crisis in the sky because they've had just about enough of muggles ruining things with "science", tyvm. feel free to join them, for good or ill!
WHEN: presently.
WHERE: the outpost @ the city of adventure, or thereabouts.
NOTES/WARNINGS: severus is kind of a dick.
The fact that this dimension can produce a dozen islands of diverse terrain, people, dynamics of reality, and so forth but not a single decent modern pub is entirely vexing; if he's served one more rocket-shaped beer mug he might kill someone, and of course, the City of Romance is unspoken conversational scorched earth between the two of them, never to be so much as acknowledged, much less actually spoken of. The two of them. Because sharing a house with Lily is now his life.
Somehow.
Anyway.
It is a modest ten billion degrees out in a bloody jungle, though the only concession Severus has made to the climate is an oversized black sunhat, which he has charmed to provide adequate shade and cooling. He has yet to decide if he thinks the Outpost is genuine in its rugged, oddly tiki-bar-esque mystique, or if this is actually a very well disguised tourist trap. He saw a collection of young people wander by not long ago with gigantic inflatable floating tubes, looking entirely too carefree to be doing any high malaria risk adventuring.
"I'm not sure I even know what a taco is," Severus says of the tapas menu scribbled in a artsy-rustic way onto thin wooden planks. This is Lily's cue to order whatever she wants-- Severus is just going to drink more of this sangria and wonder if wine will hit him any less disastrously than vodka.
